THE ULTIMATE DREAM

THE ULTIMATE DREAM: THE LAST CENTURY FOR MOST OF HUMANITY’S PROBLEMS

A DREAM WITHOUT ACTION REMAINS JUST A DREAM
A DREAM WITH ACTION MAKES ANYTHING POSSIBLE

What follows is a story that represents the hopes and desires that the youth of today have for their future: THE LAST CENTURY FOR MOST OF HUMANITY’S PROBLEMS

My brother, who is twenty, and I, a fifteen year old girl, have pretty good lives. We have parents who treat us well and we live in a nice home. We always have nutritious food to eat. Our family home is peaceful and we get along with everyone we meet. My brother is in college and I go to a high school where we both get a good education. We engage in various activities that each of us enjoy. There are so many people around the planet who live similar lives.

Unfortunately, not everyone is so fortunate. There are people who do not have a decent home to live in, do not have nutritious food to eat, do not have clean water to drink, do not have adequate clothing to wear, do not get a good education, do not live in harmony with their fellow human beings and do not have the ability to do the things they enjoy.

There are also other problems that humanity has to deal with that greatly impacts the world. Many people around the planet dislike other people because of their nationality, religion, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation. There are armed conflicts that create chaos for people living in those regions. While we have an earth that works for our benefit, it often is negatively affected by how we carry out our affairs.

My brother, myself and our generation have been born into a world that can be both wonderful and problematic at the same time. Our objective is to keep what is personally and societally beneficial while eliminating difficulties that are a burden. Going forward, we should not have to live our lives dealing with the same problems that our parents and grandparents have had to deal with.

Our generation needs to be the generation that finally changes the world. No longer will we accept the problems of today that will continue to be the problems of tomorrow, even if it takes decades to finally resolve it. When we think about human history, we can see that atrocities and difficulties on a personal and societal scale are allowed to happen until good and decent people take action. We need to believe we can make a profound difference because without such a belief we will not do what needs to be done. So often what was once considered unchangeable becomes changed.

Our generation’s mission is to achieve the unthinkable, a world where most human problems become a thing of the past by the end of the twenty-first century. This seems to be a ridiculous goal to believe that it can happen. To think that over the coming eighty years we can do something so beyond what no other generation could do is like reading a fiction book. How can we ensure that no human being will ever go hungry or have a decent place to live in? How can we affect an individual in the course of a random day to not verbally disparage and not physically or sexually assault another human being? How can we affect the world where people do not hate others? How can we end war? How can we create a clean and sustainable earth when billions upon billions of people try to survive and flourish by using its resources?

Isn’t living in a world where most human problems no longer exist the ultimate dream. Yet this is what our generation’s goal should be. While this may appear to be impossible we have to try it anyway. The reason for attempting the ultimate of ultimate dreams is that we have no choice. It is either dealing with problems after they happen or spending our time trying not to have those problems in the first place. Either way time has to be spent and it makes more sense to use some of our time in preventing problems than using that same time, if not more, eliminating problems after they occur.

To begin such a process we have to understand as many aspects of life as possible that factor into making our lives better. We have to attain the necessary insights and wisdom that will bring about what we want to achieve and then act upon that knowledge. Raising our consciousness to a level that enables us to eliminate human problems is an imperative if we are to succeed.

Look at how deplorable conditions and situations are affected by a new consciousness. Ending slavery required a consciousness about ending a certain way of thinking about and treating a segment of humanity. Ending how women are not considered equal to men is ending a certain way women are thought about and treated. Ending child labor in factories and farms required ending a certain way of treating children. Ending pollution is about ending a certain way of thinking about and treating the earth. In each case it is the consciousness of people that becomes changed first that eventually leads to changes in how human beings and the earth are treated.

Eliminating most human problems by the end of the twenty-first century will be a slow process at first and will gain momentum as the years go by. Think of it as a small ball of snow rolling downhill and with each roll more snow is continually added to it until it becomes so large that it is a force unto itself. Similarly, with each passing year more people will join in and will no longer accept human problems as inevitable. This will lead to a collaborative effort uniting humanity that transforms the world.

There is no reason why young people cannot be at the forefront of humanity’s evolution into a better future. Our generation interacts with one another like no other generation before. From social media outlets to texting, the ability to reach our fellow human beings in all corners of the world will be the basis for not only spreading knowledge that enhances human life but will also reinforce the notion that we must give some of our time to making a better world a reality.

While the young can be at the forefront of making this the last century for most human problems we will still need the insights and wisdom of those who are older. We need to know what works well in life and why it does so. We have to understand in a more in-depth way why human beings have the various problems that we have. Our generation cannot just say we want a certain outcome to occur, we have to know how to actually achieve it. The answers are there and the youth of the world need to tap into any and all knowledge that can help us create the life each of us yearns for.

WE WILL CREATE IT®, 0ur youtube channel, will be a vehicle for this transformation. The various shows will look deeper into what constitutes a better life and better world while making it simple to understand. It will go into why we have the problems that we have as well as why life turns out for the better. By objectively looking at the intricacies of life and doing it in a manner that allows for realistic assessments we will be able to find the best methodologies to bring about the better world that every generation has desired.

WE WILL CREATE IT® will have young people as hosts who will discuss the human world and all that it entails. We will encourage people around the planet to become part of the greater whole that is necessary if we are to make this the last century for most human problems. The reason our generation, the young, has to be at the center of this quest is because we are the future and when our generation gets it right the world changes for the better.
